Ridge & Valley Insurance Journal is a free, plain-language resource on insurance in East Tennessee, from the Tri-Cities through Knoxville to Chattanooga. We publish reference guides for consumers, practical articles for people who work in the insurance industry, and a curated directory of public resources. The name comes from the Ridge-and-Valley region of the Appalachians that runs through the heart of East Tennessee.

Ridge & Valley Insurance Journal is published by Colin Karich, a licensed insurance agent in Farragut, Tennessee, and the owner of Colin Karich Agency. We are telling you this up front because you deserve to know who is behind any insurance information you read.
